About Sensory Explorers Cheshire

Sensory Explorers was founded in August 2020 following the COVID pandemic. The group was started to bring mums together in a time where nothing was certain and being a parent was completely different to how it has ever been before. The group was set up with the goal of building a safe community for families where they wouldn't just be able to attend classes but would have an online community for support and additional free social activities in the community to reduce social isolation.
Sensory Explorers started out as one class per week in Winsford and the timetable quickly grew to include extra classes and brand new locations. With each new location has come a loving new Sensory Explorers community.
All About Our Classes
Find the perfect class for your little one!
Our Mini Explorers classes are perfect for little ones getting to explore the world for the first time. Our sessions are relaxed with lots of bonding time for you and your little ones. It's a great way to meet other new mums.
Mini Explorers (0-10 Months)
Our Mini Rangers classes are perfect for little ones once they get on the move! We have lots of hands on activities as well games and singing. Little ones get free play and start to develop the social skills they need when playing with other young people.
Mini Rangers (11-18 Months)
Our Mini Hikers is a fun group for toddlers! its a relaxed session with lots of chances for free play. Toddlers are encouraged to engage with other young people and can start to explore the world around them in more detail.
Mini Hikers (19-36 Months)
Each of our sessions is unique!
Every class has a different theme allowing your little one to engage in as many unique experiences as possible. Our sensory leaders work hard to shape our weekly themes to the requirements of little ones attending. Some of our themes include:-
* Under The Sea * Circus Fun * Beach Buddies * Superheroes * Hungry Caterpillars * Jungle Exploration * Make Some Noise *
We have lots of singing, dancing, bubble play and of course messy play! When little ones are on the move we help little ones to develop the social skills of interacting with others and learning basic social cues.
At special times of the year we run themed parties where other family members can come along and join in the fun. We have even had visits from Santa Claus!
